PUSSY WEST

In one of my latest status on FB i said that i was kind of sick of Terry Richardson-ish photos... but i've never said that i was sick of Terry Richardson photos!
In fact, i really like this photographer and his whole style, specially the way he handles and plays with models.
Here is a really fun western style photoshoot he made for the latest issue of Vogue Paris with one of my favorite models, Eniko Mihalik.

THE GREATEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD

This is my special post for the best woman in the entire world. My mom.

Today is her birthday and i dont have enough words to express how much i love her. So i decided show her my love telling u guys how much she means to me.
In this photo she was exactly my age y and she looked gorgeous! She was a truly fashionista back in her good times (no wait... she still is a fashionista!... and she still is in her good times!).
I remember when i was a little girl and spent my afternoons in her vestier reading words on her perfume bottles (she's a big fan of Kenzo), playing with her dresses and jewels and calculating the age when i finally get to wear her incredible shoes. She had a great collection of Vogue magazines, so that is how discovered fashion at a really young age.
She is my biggest fan and i'm her biggest fan too, she is always supporting me in everything i do and encourages me to be a better person each passing day.
I want to wish her millions of years of joy and tell her that she's my favorite woman in life. That she mixes every color in this world and makes happier the life of everyone who has the luck of knowing her.
I LOVE U WITH ALL MY HEART!

Hoy es su cumpleanios y no tengo suficientes palabras para expresarle cuanto la quiero. Asi que decidi contarles a uds. cuanto significa ella para mi.
En esta foto ella tenia mi edad y se veia hermosa! Ella era una verdadera fashionista en sus tiempos (sigue siendo una fashionista... y sigue en sus mejores tiempos!)
Recuerdo cuando era chica y pasaba mis tardes en su vestier tratando de leer lo que decia en sus botellas de perfume, jugando con sus vestidos y sus joyas y calculando la edad que tendria yo para por fin usar sus tacones. Mi mama tenia la coleccion mas grande de revistas Vogue en casa, asi que gracias a ella descubri la moda a una edad muy temprana.

Ella es mi mayor fan y yo la de ella, siempre me esta apoyando en todo lo que hago y me alienta a ser una mejor persona con cada dia que pasa.
Quiero desearle millones de anios de dicha y decirle que es de mi s personas favoritas en la vida. Ella mezcla todos los colores en este mundo y hace la vida mas feliz a todos lo que tienen la suerte de conocerla.

KEEPING UP WITH THE LAZY MODE

I always hated sundays, specially when i was a little girl... i always wanted to do something fun and ended up bored or tormented because i had school the next day. Maybe because im more like a grown person (haha..) im starting to enjoy sundays (really). The thing i like the most is that a can actually relax from everything and i can wear something more comfy than other days in the week.
These are some nice outfit ideas for you to feel comfy but looking great in your lazy sundays :)

BELLY SCRATCHING MODE

I woke up today and it was all foggy and dark, it looked like it was not going to be a nice sunny spring day. So, i spent all my saturday morning liying on the couch scratching my belly, drinking coffee, updating in fashion news and listening to Billie Holiday.
While i was looking for some news and reaally, reaaallyy enjoying my "lazy mode" i found this great photo of Frida Gustavsson by Andreas Sjodin for the Winter 2010 H&M Magazine. This picture describes perfectly how i imagine a "Glamorous Lazy Mode".

OFFICIALLY THANKFUL!

Today as many of u know (and celebrate) is Thanksgiving day. Here in Argentina people don't celebrate this date and even less in Venezuela, where i come from. But i've always love this special day and with my family, time ago, we used to have a little celebration near this date.
I know that u have to be thankful for everything u have every single day of your life, but i found it lovely to have a date in the calendar when u can officially say THANKS.
So, i just wanted to wish u guys a great Turkey Day, have a delicious dinner with your loved ones and enjoy your Black Friday tomorrow.
And most of all, i wanted to officially say THANKS for everything that happened in my life these past years. For everything that i have. My carreer and my dreams. My family, my boyfriend and my friends that really make me feel lucky...
...And THANK U, my readers, for reading my crazy thoughts daily!

RUNNING BACK TO THE FUTURE

These are the new DMC-12 DeLorean Dunk, a special edition of Nike for Doc Brown fans inspired on the famous two door time machine.
It has a seamless stainless steel upper, a DMC (DeLorean Motors Company)logo on the heels, a "Belfast" stamp in the tongue in reference of the original factory and a rear-light outsole.
For me, one of the best things of the sneakers is box they come in , it opens up like a seagull door!
The DMC-12 DeLorean Dunk will be released on Black Friday(TOMORROW!)

EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT LANVIN+H&M BUT ME

This last month E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E have been posting, sharing, tweeting, talking, breathing, dreaming about the collaboration of Lanvin for H&M and i got to say that im a little bit sick of it. I wont lie, i love Lanvin, i think Alber Elbaz is a genius and i'd loooove to have my hands on some of those beautiful dresses(who doesn't!?) but it is true that it's been kinda boring everytime i do my daily blog update and all i get is Lanvin+H&M.

So i decided to stick to the plan of some of my fellow bloggers and i wont be posting anything about that. Instead of it, im sharing with u guys this incredible campaign of WildFox Spring 2011. Isn't it lovely? i know Marie Antoinette is definitely not a new thing, but it is a classic theme already! and its fun and girlie and pink... i love it!
